What is ApothecaryRx?

ApothecaryRx is a privately held company that buys and operates retail pharmacies servicing clinics, hospitals, medical office buildings and healthcare campuses. We buy strong independent pharmacies and allow them to remain successful by leaving intact the features that have led to their success; the manager, the staff and their style of customer service. Our mission is to help independent pharmacies maintain their strength and independence through the retirement of their owner/founder.

How Does It Work?

ApothecaryRx pays fair market value for the assets of community pharmacies that meet our criteria. We can move as quickly as desired by the owner. Once we agree upon an acquisition price we work with the owner to ensure that all staff are retained; through matched compensation, retention of paid time off rates and comparable or better benefit packages. We want the owner to stay on for at least a transition period and prefer their active involvement for the remainder of their working years in the community.
